Description

CBN-O, the acetate ester of cannabinol, isolated as a powder. A niche derivative for brands that formulate around CBN.

About CBN-O

Cannabinol (CBN) forms as THC oxidises and is at most mildly psychoactive. It is used mainly in evening and sleep-positioned formulations, usually blended with CBD at a fraction of the CBD dose.

Format: isolate

Isolate is a single cannabinoid purified into a crystalline powder, usually above 99 % purity. It is odourless and flavour-neutral, dissolves in oils and ethanol, and gives precise dosing control in any formulation.

Typical applications

  • Tinctures and oils
  • Capsules and softgels
  • Cosmetics and topicals
  • Edibles
  • Precise-dose formulations

Handling and storage

Store sealed, cool and dry, away from light. Slightly hygroscopic; reseal immediately after use.

Documentation

Every batch ships with a third-party certificate of analysis (COA) covering cannabinoid potency and, where applicable, residual solvents, heavy metals and microbials. Current COAs are sent with each quotation; samples are available for qualified buyers.

Regulatory status. CBN is not scheduled at EU level, but some member states treat THC-derived cannabinoids restrictively. Check national rules before ordering. The buyer is responsible for confirming legality in the destination country before ordering.
